Hello. While this posting is under IPM Advisory, we are searching for a proactive Financial Manager / Organizational Management for our Financial Wealth Advisory and in addition will become a go to resource in the future on our international MFO business. Please note, that knowledge and experience of finance, international structures for multiple entities and even some international tax rules will be necessary for a person to thrive in this position.

We operate a Wealth Planner and Family Office along with several small entities (including IPM Advisory and Invested Advisory). We currently have a Director (CFO) in this position and are planning for their ultimate next steps and would like to start working with a person that could take over the role down the road. Qualified candidates should be well versed in finance, but also entity organization with regards to tax implications, possible legal structures, etc. Ultimately, you would become the CFO of our entity.

Our financial advisory/wealth planning business is small but growing and provides financial advisory services to "starter individuals and families" and "wealth planning" to higher asset families, emphasizing the local DMV community and focusing on the Korean, Chinese and Indian communities.

Our location in Columbia, Maryland is in the Merrill Lynch building in the Columbia Mall area. We have an office in South Korea that runs a parallel set of services and you will work together with that Marketing Director and Team to explore different offerings and ideas. This is an in-office position and WFH and hybrid is not an initial offering.

You will principally start by assisting the CFO and developing strategy providing knowledge and solutions for our expanding clients.

You will be responsible for strategizing, organizing, and providing proper advice and trust both to internal teams but often our clients. We are a small company, catering to a non-traditional target of clients, and thus, your input and skills will be essential to creating and operating the businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee complex questions regarding finance, structure and sometimes best case financial scenarios for clients.
• Assist advisors and resources and team with data research and insights based on an annual plan.
• Presenting relevant information to different clients and team, to provide them possible options and best recommendations.
• Provide some operational support to the financial advisor team, including client meetings and preparing client reports and options

Qualifications

• Bilingual preferred: Fluent English and any additional Asian languages, preferably Korean or Mandarin or Hindi. However, English is top priority.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Corporate Finance, prefer Advanced degree as well.
• 5+ years of experience in professional similar financial services industry
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
• Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google online workspace, Apple devices and software

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
